2024 Year in Review – A Year of Progress, Challenges, and New Adventures
Another year has come and gone, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on 2024! At the beginning of the year, I set a few personal goals:
- Be more active in my daily routine
- Commit to regular workouts
- Cut back on junk food, especially sweets
- Post more healthy recipes
- Spend more time with my family
Looking back, I’m proud to say I made progress on most of these. Physical activity and exercise are now regular parts of my life, which has been incredibly rewarding. I also managed to see my family often, something that brought me a lot of joy. However, I didn’t quite hit the mark with posting healthy recipes — ideas didn’t always come easily. That’s something I’m actively working on and will prioritize more in 2025. Cutting down on junk food, especially sweets, remains a tough hurdle for me. I have such a sweet tooth and can’t simply switch it off. But I’m determined to tackle this in the new year – maybe I’ll discover some great alternatives that are just as satisfying.
One of the absolute highlights of this year was my trip to London. It was my first time and I stayed for two weeks! Exploring new places is always exciting, especially when you have the time to go beyond the typical tourist spots. London stole my heart right away: the food, the pubs, the endless things to do – I loved every moment and can’t wait to go back!

2024 was a year full of small victories, meaningful family moments, exciting challenges, and inspiring new experiences. I’m already looking forward to what 2025 will bring – both in my personal life and here on the blog!
