2022 – the 1st year since the outbreak of Corona, which finally had more “normality”, if you want to call it that. For me it was a great year with lots of baking and new recipes. I went more into bread baking, which I really enjoy and want to explore this even more next year. I love baking with my own sourdough. For this year I had planned to bake healthier more often. That has already worked out OK 😉, but here I see definitely room for improvement next year.
What I also loved about this year was that we were finally able to travel more. The trip to Paris, which we had actually planned for January 2022 but had to cancel due to Corona, we caught up on in August. Paris in summer is really hot, but it was amazing! We also went to Denmark this year and are currently in Sweden to take a little time off. I really missed traveling!
Now this is my 3rd year as a blogger and baking still gives me a wonderful balance to my daily job. However, I do notice that baking sometimes comes up short because I have less time than before. In the end, the most important thing for me is that I continue to enjoy it and that baking does not cause any stress. If that means that I publish fewer posts in some months, this is perfectly fine for me.
The thing that keeps blowing my mind is this wonderful community. I want to thank you for all your support, love and inspiration. Your comments, your likes here and on social media always makes me smile. You are the best ❤️. Now it’s time again for a little review of your favorite recipes this year. It was exciting for me to see which recipes you liked best. Here are your favorite recipes.
